After successfull surgery, Omar celebrates his 19th birthday with a few first steps and having lunch with his mother at Sanborns. He will have to go through many more weeks of intense physiotherapy, but he is absolutely happy and sends grateful regards to all those people who have helped him to achieve this.
Thanks to an intensive rehabilitation Omar is able to make his first steps with cruches and his new, light leg splint.
Enrique Vieyra, our right-hand man at the hospital for disabled persons at Tepexpan, hands over a wheel chair with an extended and adjustable back rest to one of the residents at the affiliated nursing home.
Happy with the new, more comfortable wheel chairs.
